Médoc
Offering a quintessential château experience, staying in one of the 6 bedrooms of this château comes with the services of an in-house chef and butler. Three of the rooms have a more luxurious feel, with red velvet curtains and gold taps.
The former stables of this 19th-century château are the setting for the 3 farmhouse-style rooms, with wooden floors and exposed beams. In contrast to the tranquil surroundings of vines and meadows, the village of Margaux is less than 6km away.
The 5 elegantly furnished bedrooms on the first floor of the château are called after Bordeaux’s famous grape varieties. Guest can also enjoy a glass in the leather and mahogany decorated study or by the 50-metre pool and orangery.
Saint-Estèphe
Vineyards, century-old parkland, informal attentive service, refined yet relaxed decor: this property, adjacent to the Cos d'Estournel estate, is dedicated to the pleasure of recharging one's batteries.
Adjacent to the château, this L-shaped manor house is available for private hire and conceals 6 spacious bedrooms, 2 suites with gyms and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
VINIV members can’t get enough of this little gem owned by the Cazes family. Fabric covered walls and original tile and wood flooring contribute to the French country style ambiance of the 5 rooms at this 18th-century estate, named after the elm trees planted at the property.
Saint-Julien
Of the 13 bedrooms in this 1,400m2 château, 2 are suites and all look out over the famous gardens that extend to the estuary. Renovated in 2016, the furniture is a successful combination of vintage and modern with ornate divider screens adding to the distinct character of each room.
Housed in the area previously used to accommodate harvesters, the 14 bedrooms overlooking the gardens and vineyards are comfortable with minimal decoration and ideally situated in the centre of the Médoc.
Pauillac
This is the Bordeaux ‘home’ for VINIV members. The sense of tranquility at this 4-star, Relais & Châteaux country house can be felt throughout the salons, terraces and 25m heated outdoor pool.
